Public Transportation Services
Below is a list of transportation services available in many of the counties/communities that our patients live in. We hope this list is helpful to you. If you know of any services that are not listed please contact the office so we can update the list. Many communities offer senior transportation services.
If your community is not on the list, call your local city hall to see if there are services available for you. Some of the services listed below will only provide transportation for medical appointments, others will provide transportation for banking, shopping and visiting friends and family. Each organization will be able to provide you with information about the type of service they offer.

Door to Door service Monday-Friday 7am-7pm. Call for more information.
Ashtabula County Senior Services
To use Paratransit, you must first apply. The application is available in large print upon request.
Paratransit is a door to door service. Paratransit is available 7 days a week 8:30am-4pm. Reservations must be made a week in advance. For an application or more information call the number listed above.
Tri-Consortium on Aging

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm, reservation needed, donation for transportation, call number above for more information.

Orange Senior Center

Solon Senior Center
Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm advanced reservations are required. Transportation within city is free of charge. There is a nominal fee for transportation outside the city.
Southwest General Health Center
Free van service is available to residents of the health center's taxing district - Berea, Brookpark, Columbia Township, Middleburg Hts., Olmsted Falls and Strongsville- who are unable to provide their own transportation to and from the following locations: Southwest General Health Center, Lifeworks of Southwest General & UH Health System Southwest General Health Center Strongsville Medical Center. Transportation is provided for doctors appointments, tests, and other clinical services.
Lakewood Office on Aging
Will transport any patient who lives in Lakewood . Patient has to call and make appointment with them. $1.00 donation each way.

They will transport any Rocky River resident, who registers with them, to and from our offices Monday-Friday 9am-4pm.
Donation only no set fee.
Berea Senior Transportation
Will transport Berea residents to the Middleburg Hts. office Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm.
Westlake Senior Services
They will transport patients to our Lakewood office only. Patient must live in Westlake . Must make reservation. Suggested donation $2.00 round trip.
Parma Senior Center
Will transport Parma residents. Must be registered. Two weeks advance notice. $10.00 round trip.
Geauga County Transit
Geauga County Transit is a door to door personalized system for all Geauga county residents. Saturday service is available in conjuction with the United Way of Geauga County call 1-888-287-7190. Same day service is also available.
Door to door service for all Lake County Residents, with a special emphasis on seniors and those physically challenged.
You may qualify for special next day service under the ADA Act call 1-800-400-1300 for more information.
Lorain County Paratransit
Monday-Friday 7:30am-5pm. Call the above number for more information.
Lorain County Veterans
Free transportation to the VA medical facilities, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Call the above number for information or to reserve a seat.
Lorain County Office on Aging
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Call the above number for more information.
Mahoning County Dept of Job and Family Services
Provides medical transportation to Medicaid-eligible seniors to a Medicaid provider.
Western Mahoning County Community Action
Provides transportation to seniors and handicapped individuals for medical appointments & shopping.
Portage Area Regional Transit Authority - Certain areas Monday-Friday, 8am -5pm, other areas only 2 days per week. PARTA will not go out of the county.
Retired Seniors Volunteer Program (RSVP)
Transportation on a case by case basis. They will go out out the county. Transportation provided by seniors.
Dept of Job and Family Services
If the person is on Medicaid they can be transported to doctor appointments. They need to give 10 days notice; will go out of the county if specialty not available in Portage county.
First Call for Help
24 hours a day, 7 days a week they will make referrals to other agencies that can help.
62 years of age or older or have a disability that prohibits the passenger from using the regular service line. Call the above numbers for more information.
Stark Area Regional Transit Authority (SARTA)
Offers curb to curb service for individuals who, because of a disability can not use fixed route bus service Monday-Friday 9am-8pm and Saturdays 9am-5:30pm.

Dial -A- Ride
Transportation within Trumbull county to medical appointments and pharmacies. If time is available may provide transportation for shopping and banking.
Transportation for city residents 60 and over for medical appointments and shopping at local stores. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 8:30am-3pm.
Transportation for local seniors to medical appointments shopping and social activities within Hubbard and Hubbard Township. Tuesdays-Fridays 9am-12pm.
Newton Falls Community Center
Transportation for city resident age 60+ or handicapped individuals for shopping, banking and medical appointments.
Niles Trumbull Transit
