Dr. Coney speaks at Jefferson Elementary for Black History Month
Joseph M. Coney, MD was an honored speaker this morning for a group of children at the Jefferson K-8 Elementary School in Warren, Ohio, in honor of Black History Month.
A patient of Dr. Coney's is a teacher at the school, and invited him to talk about his personal background, education, and successful career path at Retina Associates as an ophthalmologist, hoping to inspire the kids to work hard and achieve great things for themselves and others.
