Retina Associates physicians educate at Ophthalmological Society meetings, Cleveland and beyond!

Dr. David Miller lectured in December at the Cleveland Ophthalmological Society (COS) meeting with a talk entitled “Neovascular Glaucoma Surgery: Two Birds with One Stone?” Hernando Zegarra traveled to Zagreb in October of 2010 to co-moderate a Medical Retina Symposium for the Croatian Ophthalmological Society. Dr. Zegarra spoke about “Long-term Therapy of Central Retinal Vein Occlusion with Anti-VEGF Agents” and “Photodynamic Therapy in the Treatment of Central Serous Choroidopathy.”In October’s COS meeting, Dr. Miller gave a talk entitled “Chemical Vitrectomy: Microplasmin to Treat Vitreomacular Traction.” Dr. Larry Singerman spoke about the latest “Clinical Trials for the Treatment of Dry Age-related Macular Degeneration”, while Dr. Michael Novak lectured on the topic of “Recent Advances in the Treatment of Macular Edema.” Dr. Jerome Schartman gave a Case Report on “Central Serous Chorioretinopathy with Total Retinal Detachment.”For information on these lectures or questions, you can contact us at retina@retina-assoc.com.
