A clinical trial is a health-related research study that determines how a new medication or procedure will work in people. Many of the treatments we use today for macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other retinal diseases are the results of past clinical trials. The physicians and staff of Retina Associates have been dedicated to developing and evaluating new and promising treatments for retinal diseases since 1979.
As a patient of Retina Associates of Cleveland, you may be given an option to enroll in a clinical trial if you have a medical condition that we are researching.
